Motorcycles were getting more and
more complex and Liam was asked to assist the mechanics at his
local dealership on electrical and fuel injection problems,
after all if you can design, install and maintain airfield
radar, landing and communication systems the most complicated
fuel injection system or alarm is simple. Liam worked
part time at his local dealer for eight years on all sorts of
electrical and mechanical tasks and is fully factory trained
on Aprilia, Kawasaki and Suzuki brands.
Michelle had
given up the foreign travel job for the delights of motherhood
but also worked part time in her local bike dealer, usually at
the front desk in a sales and admin role but constantly in a
support role to the boys in the workshop.
In January 2007 Indurate was
set up to install alarm, immobilisers and other electrical accessories for both
the bike trade and for the biking public. The benefits of "the trade"
sub-contracting out electrical work is twofold, the work gets done by an expert
giving a lifetime fitting guarantee for as long as you own the bike and reducing
waiting time for servicing work which is what mechanics do best.
Indurate now can supply
physical security eg chains, ground anchors etc, battery conditioning systems to
ensure you never have a flat battery again, rider information such as gear
indicators and GPS systems.
