Indurate
are the only mobile alarm fitting service in Scotland, our trained
staff will provide you with the best advice and service to make
motorcycle theft against you harder
Alarm
faults
Any manufactured
item can go faulty! that is why warranties are offered, if
Indurate have installed your accessories we will have a record of
it, in the event of any problems
email or give us a
call and we will be able to sort you out.
If your alarm was
installed by someone else don't panic, we can still do wonders,
before emailing please try to establish
-
does the spare
remote work
-
are you close to any
mobile phone masts or high rf areas (airports, petrol stations
etc)
-
can you switch the
ignition on does the alarm go off or not
-
does the manual
override code work
-
what make and model
of alarm you have, (see below for meta and datatool)
-
do the indicators
flash when you alarm or disarm,
-
have you fitted any
accessories i.e. aftermarket indicators
Please send me an
email and I will help
you establish whether or not the fault is with the bike or alarm,
owing to abuse of this system in the past and the fact I have to
make a living as well as preserve security I will not talk you
through removal of an alarm or supply wiring information.
If you want me to
attend I will require a payment upfront by paypal this gives us
both security.
If the alarm is
faulty and it is out of the warranty period I will offer a removal
or replacement service at cost (I will install and supply second
hand alarms bought of ebay to keep costs down, these items have no
guarantee).
If the wiring is
faulty I will repair or replace as necessary, costs subject to
amount of bodywork to be removed.
If the bike is
faulty I will diagnose to component level and advise replacement
or refurbishment of parts, supply and fitting of parts available
for all electronic parts. I do not strip engines or mechanical
components.
Please do not call
for alarm faults but send an email answering the above questions
instead, this is due to the long time that these calls can take. I
do not want to start a chargeable phone line but if this service
is abused I may have to.
If your bike already has a META alarm fitted. Use the notes here to help you
identify it. We offer a re-certification / warranty service.
